Discusses some history of the de Kay family and his desire for any information Round may have come across concerning Johan de Kai [lord high sheriff of London in 1201]. [ca. 1890] May 17. Charles de Kay to Ella H. Bigelow. Discusses the poem [published as "Under Brooklyn Bridge"] which he submitted for inclusion in "American Sonnets " and his daughters, Amber, Phyllis and Kay. 1909 Apr 20. Charles de Kay letter to John H. Finley. Discusses his desire to have Finley look over an enclosed booklet which he wrote about "the origin of many things in classical art and mythology" and the future greatness of [City College of New York]. The collection also contains an autograph, 1894.
